Fundraising

The Fundraising Committee, staffed by parents of pupils at the school and generously supported by the local community, is very active in helping to raise much need additional funding each year. The proceeds are put towards specific projects (such as the recent purchase of Chromebook (laptops) for pupils and the proposed new all-weather playground surface and play equipment) but also go to supporting other activities that simply could not be offered without this funding (such as subsidising school trips, celebrations and other events). The committee is always on the look for new volunteers….!

So far this academic year the Fundraising Committee has organised the following events:

• Village Quiz Night
• Movie nights
• Christmas card sale
• Bags 2 School
• Christmas Fayre

Over the course of the rest of the year, there will be a number of other recurring events, including:

• the annual Sports Day,
• “Stayers vs Leavers” cricket match,
• together with other larger one-off events.

The Fundraising Team

The Fundraising Committee consists of a group of parents who work enthusiastically to organise social and fundraising events throughout the year. It’s a great way to get to know each other, to be involved and raise much-needed funds for the incredible school that we enjoy.
