Arriving at and leaving the school
The school doors open at 8.45 am.
Please note that staff are not legally responsible for children until 8.45 am when the school door opens.
Parents are asked to bring their children to the school gate, where Mrs Miller will be on duty to welcome them into school for the day. The children go directly to their classrooms, where their teachers will be waiting for them.
Children are dismissed at 3:15pm. Reception and Key Stage 2 via the main entrance and Key Stage 1 by their class door. (Key Stage 2 children come out slightly later to avoid overcrowding at the gate).
The teachers will bring the children out into the cul-de-sac. If parents are not waiting outside, the children return into school and wait with an adult until they are collected.
Please notify the school if you are running slightly late.
You must inform the school if someone else will be picking up your child. We will not release your child to anyone other than the parents unless we have had prior notification.
Any child who has not been collected after 10 minutes will be placed in after school club which you will be charged for.
We can not release your child to anyone under the age of 16
Children who come to school via taxi are escorted by their driver and are not left to walk down the cul-de-sac by themselves.
