Term Dates and the School Day

Term time and holiday information

Term Dates

As part of the Harlington Area pyramid of schools, we all follow the same term dates including inset days. These dates are published well in advance and are available to download below:

If you have any questions about term dates, please don't hesitate to contact the school office.

School times

Our school day is divided into two sessions and differs slightly by age group:

Key Stage One:

  • Morning Session starts 8.55 am and ends 12.00 noon
  • Afternoon Session starts 1.00 pm and ends 3.15 pm

Key Stage Two:

  • Morning Session starts 8.55 am and ends 12.20 pm
  • Afternoon Session starts 1.20 pm and ends 3.20 pm

There are breaks of 15 minutes in the morning for all children and in the afternoons for Reception and Key Stage 1 children only.

Arriving at and leaving the school

The school doors open at 8.45 am.

Parents are asked to bring their children to the school gate where Mrs Miller will be on duty to welcome them into school for the day. The children go directly to their classrooms where their teachers are waiting for them.

Children are dismissed at 3:15pm. (Key Stage 2 children come out slightly later, to avoid crowding at the door).

The teachers will bring the children out into the cul-de-sac. If parents are not waiting outside, the children return into school and wait with an adult until they are collected.
Please notify the school if you are going to be late to pick up or if someone else will be picking up your child.
We will not release your child to anyone under the age of 16

Children who come to school via taxi are escorted by their driver and are not left to walk down by themselves.

Please note that staff are not legally responsible for children until 8.45 am.
