Site Agent
We are looking to recruit a committed, experienced, and reliable Site Agent to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of site management, ensuring the safety of our children, staff, and visitors. Key duties include site security, general maintenance, handling daily site issues, health and safety compliance, and routine inspections.
The Site Agent will supervise our cleaning staff and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and help lead various development projects.
Working hours are flexible, but the post holder must be available to open the school in the morning, ensuring it is ready and safe for the day ahead. They may also need to open the school for contractors outside of normal hours.
We encourage applications from individuals with experience in an educational environment or a similar setting, as well as those with relevant trade experience. A willingness to undertake further training is essential.

Clerk
Do you have experience in taking accurate minutes at meetings?
If so, Eversholt Lower school is looking to appoint an efficient and self-motivated person to join The Trust as our Clerk. Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience in arranging and taking minutes of meetings, dealing with procedural matters, and providing advice to the governing body / Trust. The responsibilities of the role include being Company Secretary for the Trust.
Flexibility is required as you will need to be available to attend Trust board meetings, local governing bodies, and committee meetings. These are generally held 5 times a year during weekday evenings. The successful person will provide efficient administrative support to the Trust and the local governing bodies, produce and distribute accurate minutes of all meetings as required, and have a high degree of common sense.
You will need to be organised, a team player, used to working to tight deadlines, and have the ability to observe confidentiality requirements. Apart from the formal governor and committee meetings, which take place on school premises, the remainder of the role is relatively flexible. The administrative side of the role will be done at home so access to a computer and the internet is essential.
Previous experience of Clerking to Governors in an education setting would be desirable but is not essential.
